We offer a wide variety of one-day cooking and baking workshops and multiple week series that provide more in-depth skills and techniques.
In our workshops, students work hands-on in small groups with a skilled professional chef in well-equipped cooking stations furnished with state-of-the-art Bertazzoni ranges.
We can also accommodate private cooking classes and parties in your own home or at our facility. What a great way to enjoy a girl’s/guy’s nights out, spend a romantic date night cooking for your amore, or help a newlywed who is just learning how to cook.

The “Everything Chocolate” Workshop
Special Guest Chef: Zach Townsend
Please join us for this special course led by expert baker, food writer, and chocolatier Zach Townsend of Pure Chocolate Desserts by Zach.
In this all-encompassing course on chocolate, participants will learn about the origin of chocolate, how chocolate is made from bean to bar, and what defines fine chocolate.
You will learn about natural flavor profiles within chocolate as well as how to be a savvy chocolate consumer by learning to recognize the characteristics of both low-quality and high-quality chocolate and by getting acquainted with some of the world’s finest chocolate makers.
The course then moves to a hands-on lesson on how to work with real chocolate, including baking with chocolate, special kitchen equipment for working with chocolate, understanding how the components of real chocolate impacts dessert making, the application of different cocoa powders, the concept of “couverture” chocolate and when to use it, the impact of the chocolate you select on your baking and dessert creations, the role of white and milk chocolate, methods for creating silky-smooth ganaches for chocolate sauces, truffle and dessert fillings.
You will learn various approaches to chocolate tempering, including a quick tempering technique Zach employed during his work in chocolate at La Petite Rose pastry shop in Paris. You will practice this tempering technique and learn how to create contemporary chocolate designs and shapes for your desserts.
After this course, you will be a true chocolate connoisseur ready to conquer any chocolate task in the kitchen!

Do I have to register in advance for a workshop?
All workshops require advanced registration. If the workshop you are interested in is sold out, we are happy to add your name to our waiting list. If a space becomes available you will receive notification.

I don’t see the topic/technique I am interested in learning about. Will you be scheduling more workshops with a greater variety of topics/techniques?
We are always developing new workshops to meet the needs and interests of our customers and current trends. We also encourage you to provide us feedback and ideas on what you would like to learn about!
What happens if the workshop I am enrolled in is cancelled?
In the event your class is cancelled, you will be notified through the contact information you provided.
What is your cancellation policy?
In the event of insufficient enrollment a workshop may be rescheduled or cancelled. We typically make this decision 2 to 3 days in advance of the scheduled workshop. We will make every effort to notify you in advance through the contact information you provided.
In the case of inclement weather, or other circumstances beyond our control, a workshop may be rescheduled or cancelled without prior notice. Again, we will make every effort to notify you in advance through the contact information you provided.
We will do our best to reschedule the cancelled workshop. However, this is dependent on several factors, including workshop viability and facility availability. If we are unable to reschedule the workshop, we welcome your enrollment into any of our other available workshops.
What is your refund policy?
Payments for workshops are nonrefundable. In the event of a cancellation we are more than happy to exchange your reservation to another upcoming workshop. No refunds or exchanges will be given for cancellations made by you less than three (3) days prior to the class date.
What is your gift card/gift certificate policy?
Gift cards are nonrefundable and expire five (5) years from date of purchase. Gift cards are transferable. Gift cards are redeemable for workshops and can also be applied towards catering and event
